Mark your calendars! Apocalyptica’s first single from 7th Symphony ‘End of Me’ featuring Gavin Rossdale on vocals is set to hit the radio on Tuesday June 29th. Gavin is scheduled to be filming the video at the end of May. Stay Tuned!

Apocalyptica is set to release its highly anticipated seventh studio album “7th Symphony” on August 23rd (Germany August 20th). The majority of the album was produced by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens Of The Stoneage, Bad Religion etc.) with two other songs produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motörhead, Papa Roach).
The first single, “End Of Me”, features Gavin Rossdale, best known as the vocalist of the British alternative rock band Bush. The album also features a number of other notable guest performances: Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo plays on “2010″, “Bring Them To Light” features Joseph Duplantier, singer and guitarist of the French death metal band Gojira, “Broken Pieces” is a cooperation with Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm and “Not Strong Enough” is sung by Brent Smith (Shinedown).
The band are set to promote the release of the new album with a worldwide tour in 2010 and beyond. The following dates prior release are confirmed already – more info here or on their official site www.apocalyptica.com

This is exciting news that the new upcoming Gavin Rossdale is being mixed in April (does that mean the album will be out in May or June?) and GR will be making two guest appearances on “a band you know” and “a legend you know” albums. (who do you think the band/legend is? – 2010 albums coming out are: U2, David Bowie, Katy Perry and No Doubt. – could it be one of these?) hope we find out soon..
